A writer rebels

Once upon a time, I worked for a gigantic manufacturer. I loved the work and my co-workers. But I hated seeing the company consistently put profit above the welfare of the people who contributed to that profit. So I quit.

Now I work with organizations I respect, for causes I believe in. And whether it’s through writing for a university or a not-for-profit, or volunteering with homeless folks in my community, I feel like I'm helping to make today a little better than yesterday.

Kind words from clients

Beth has written the copy for many projects we have designed and/or directed over the past 3 years. Whether it’s brainstorming the initial concept or writing to an approved outline (or anything in between), Beth always delivers quality work. Beth approaches projects with creativity, intelligence and attention to detail. I feel confident every time we work together that we will be able to meet the project milestones on time and have a very satisfied client, not to mention she is a delight to work with. Beth is extremely organized, efficient, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. She is especially experienced and effective in written communication. Beth is quick to respond and makes a focused effort to provide creative solutions to project challenges. In addition to her knowledge, she is a delightful person who shows a great deal of dedication and enthusiasm.

Beth and I have been working together for the past three years on our agency’s e-newsletter. She is a creative storyteller who can bring clarity to the sometimes chaotic stories of life. I am confident with every issue that Beth is going to be able to draw out the real heart of the matter through her writing. And with her rich work experience, I really appreciate the nuggets of advice she gives me on how to write, storytelling, fundraising, and other areas of development.
